How long does the process take?

The process takes just six months. It is the faster process currently available for obtaining the EU Citizenship.

What personal documents are required for the main applicant?

Birth certificate* True copy of passport Certificate of clean criminal record from the country of origin and the country of residence if different * Curriculum vitae Marriage certificate/civil partnership certificate* Two passport sized photographs *Note : All the documents issued by a foreign authority should be translated to either Greek or English and be duly authenticated. They should bear the stamp «APOSTILE», if they are issued by countries that have signed the Hague Convention, otherwise they should be sealed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the issuing country and the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Cyprus in the issuing country.

What personal documents are required for the adult childs of the main applicant?

Birth certificate* True copy of passport Certificate of clean criminal record from the country of origin and the country of residence if different * Curriculum vitae Certificate of attendance by an academic institution in original Medical certificate attesting the disability in original Two passport sized photographs *Note : All the documents issued by a foreign authority should be translated to either Greek or English and be duly authenticated. They should bear the stamp «APOSTILE», if they are issued by countries that have signed the Hague Convention, otherwise they should be sealed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the issuing country and the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Cyprus in the issuing country.

I already have a residential property in Cyprus. Can it go to offset when calculating the total investment?

Yes, it can, if the property was purchased not earlier than three years before applying for the EU Citizenship.

Does the Cypriot Citizenship allow me to work or study in the EU?

Citizens of Cyprus have the right to enter, reside, study and work in the EU and other countries of the European Economic Area (Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, etc.).

Can I rent my lifetime residential propery?

Yes, there is no obstacle in renting out any of the properties.

Can I sell the lifetime residential property?

Yes, provided that you purchase a different lifetime residential property of equal or higher purchase value. Other conditions may apply here as well.

Can I buy a property through re-sale?

Yes, there is no limit; whether is a new purchase or a re-sale.

Who is considered financially dependent adult child?

Any child between the age of 18-28. Studying to obtain a diploma or an undergraduate or a master’s degree. The programme excludes children who are studying for the acquisition of a professional qualification such as chartered accountants or barrister. Additionally, a child with severe physical or mental disability unable to work, is considered financially dependent regardless of the age.

Will the Cyprus citizenship authomatically grant me European citizenship?

Yes. Because Cyprus is a member of the European Union.
